Bias in Religious Thinking

I recently gave a talk to a San Francisco atheist group about what I take to be some of the most common and serious biases and errors in religious reasoning and believing.  I’m applying a number of studies from Tversky, Kahneman, Dennett, McKay, Nisbett, decamp Wilson, and others.  I’m also identifying some of what I take to be some of the important ways in which believers and skeptics are talking across one another.  I’ll write up a few of the discussions soon.  For now, here’s a link to the slides I used.
